Outdoor Stations of the Cross for Prayer Gardens
Many churches are building prayer gardens. They need outdoor stations of the cross.
This is a challenge. The weather is hard. Rain, snow, and hot sun will destroy wood or resin.
WeatherproofStone does not rot. Bronze does not crack.
Large ScaleFor outdoors, the figures must be big. We can carve life-size figures so they stand out in the garden.
PedestalsWe also make the stone bases (pedestals) to hold each station.

After walking the Way of the Cross, a large outdoor Jesus statue serves as a powerful symbol of the Resurrection.
The 14 Stations of the Cross
We offer the complete set.

From the 1st Station (Jesus is Condemned) to the 14th Station (Jesus is Laid in the Tomb).
Some churches want a 15th Station (The Resurrection). We can do that too.

High Relief Sculpture vs. Full Statues
What style fits your church?

Relief Sculpture
This is like a 3D picture carving on a flat slab. It hangs on the wall.
It saves space. It is perfect for indoor church walls. We carve high relief, meaning the figures pop out deeply.

Full Round Statues
These are complete figures. You can walk around them.
This is best for outdoor stations. It feels like you are standing right there with Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What materials do you recommend for Stations of the Cross?
A: For indoor church walls, we recommend White Marble Reliefs (classic) or Painted Wood/Resin (budget). For outdoor prayer gardens, we highly recommend Bronze or Granite, as they are weatherproof and won’t fade.
Q3: Can you make “High Relief” carvings?
A: Yes. High relief means the figures pop out deeply from the background (almost 3D). This makes the scene easier to see from a distance in the church. We specialize in deep, dramatic carvings.
Q5: Can you customize the frame shape?
A: Yes. We can carve the border in Gothic arches, Romanesque squares, or simple modern lines to match your church’s window shapes or architecture.
Q7: How big are the stations?
A: Standard sizes range from 30cm (12 inches) tall for small chapels to 100cm (40 inches) tall for large cathedrals. We can scale the design to fit your wall space perfectly.
Q2: Do you sell them as a complete set of 14?
A: Yes. We sculpt the full 14 Stations of the Cross set. Some churches request a 15th Station (The Resurrection), which we can also include. Buying a set ensures the style, size, and faces are consistent throughout the journey.
Q4: How do we hang heavy stone stations on the wall?
A: We install strong metal hooks or brackets on the back of each stone relief plaque. Your contractor will need to mount anchors into the church wall to support the weight.
Q6: Are the stations painted or natural?
A: We can leave them in natural white marble for a pure look, or our artists can hand-paint them in realistic colors (polychrome) for a traditional Catholic look.
Q8: Do you make outdoor “Way of the Cross” statues?
A: Yes. Instead of wall plaques, we can create life-size bronze statues for each station. These are placed along a garden path, allowing pilgrims to walk beside Jesus.
