Q1: Why should I choose natural stone or bronze over concrete fountains?
A: Concrete (cast stone) is porous. It absorbs water, freezes, and cracks in winter. The paint also peels off. Natural Stone and Bronze are dense and durable. They withstand constant water exposure and weather changes for generations without losing their beauty.
Q3: How do you ship a large tiered fountain?
A: To ensure safety and lower shipping costs, large tiered stone fountains are shipped disassembled. Each bowl and pedestal is packed individually in a wooden crate with foam. We provide a numbered installation guide for easy assembly on-site.
Q5: Can you custom design a fountain for my specific pool size?
A: Yes. Whether you have an existing pool or are building a new one, we can adjust the diameter of the fountain bowls or the height of the spray to ensure water stays inside the basin and doesn’t splash out.
Q7: Do you sell commercial fountains for hotels or plazas?
A: Yes. We specialize in large-scale projects. We can fabricate monumental stainless steel landmarks or grand granite fountains that serve as focal points for public spaces.
Q2: Do you provide the pump and internal piping?
A: We install the internal copper or PVC piping inside the sculpture/fountain to guide the water. We can recommend the correct pump power (Gallons Per Hour) based on the fountain’s size, or supply the pump upon request for compatible regions.
Q4: Can I leave the fountain running in winter?
A: If you live in a freezing climate, you must drain the fountain and cover it in winter. Water expanding into ice can damage even the strongest stone or pipes. For mild climates, our outdoor water features can run year-round.
Q6: What maintenance is required?
A: Keep the water clean to prevent pump clogging. For marble fountains, clean stains with mild soap. For bronze fountains, the patina will naturally darken, which is desirable, but you can wax it to maintain the sheen.
Q8: Does the fountain come with a pool surround (coping)?
A: We can carve a matching stone pool surround (the curb around the bottom pool) to go with your fountain. You can choose the diameter and the profile of the coping.
