Custom Stainless Steel Sculptures & Modern Metal Art
Modern architecture needs modern art.
Stone is classic. Bronze is historic. But Stainless Steel is the future.
It reflects the sky. It reflects the city. It disappears into nature.
At Yun Sculpture, we specialize in modern outdoor sculpture.
We do not use cheap iron that rusts. We use high-grade 304 and 316 Stainless Steel.
Whether you need a large outdoor metal sculpture for a city plaza, or an abstract piece for a private garden, we forge it with precision.

Find Your Modern Masterpiece
Mirror Polished & Abstract
The surface looks like liquid mercury.Infinity Sculptures and Ribbons.

Geometric & Faceted
Low Poly Animals (like Deer or Gorilla) and faceted shapes.

Large Urban Landmarks
Metal Spheres, Rings, and public art projects.

More Than Just “Shiny”
The finish makes the sculpture. We offer different looks for different vibes.
Mirror Polished
We polish the steel by hand until it looks like a glass mirror. It reflects the environment. It is stunning.
Brushed / Matte
A soft, satin look. It does not reflect light. It looks industrial and modern.
Spray Painted
Want color? We can paint the steel in Red, Blue, or Gold using car paint.
Electroplated
A transparent color coating (like Titanium Gold or Rose Gold) that keeps the metallic shine.
Why We Use 316L Marine Grade Steel
Listen to an expert: Not all stainless steel is the same.
Some factories use “201 Steel” to save money. It will rust in 6 months. We never use it.
Some factories use “201 Steel” to save money. It will rust in 6 months. We never use it.

We use:
- Type 304: Great for most outdoor gardens. It stays clean and bright.
- Type 316L (Marine Grade): Essential if you live near the sea. Salt air eats metal. But 316L contains “Molybdenum” to stop corrosion.
If you buy a large outdoor metal sculpture for sale from us, it will last a lifetime.

Any Shape. Any Size.
Steel is strong but flexible. We can make anything.

Abstract Curves
We bend thick steel plates into smooth ribbons. We explore the full fabrication process — from 3D modeling to mirror polishing — in our geometric abstract metal sculpture guide.

Sharp Angles
We weld flat sheets into geometric animals.

Giant Size
We build an internal steel skeleton (armature) to support sculptures up to 20 meters high.
Send us your design or 3D file. Our metal tree and plant sculpture guide shows how we turn organic shapes like palms and olive trees into permanent stainless steel installations. We will calculate the structure and build it safely.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Will stainless steel sculptures rust outdoors?
A: Not if the right material is used. We use high-grade 304 and 316L Stainless Steel. 304 is standard for inland gardens. 316L (Marine Grade) contains molybdenum, making it resistant to salt water and corrosion. We guarantee our sculptures will not rust for decades.
Q2: What finishes do you offer?
A: We offer four main finishes: Mirror Polished (highly reflective), Brushed/Matte (satin look), Spray Painted (colorful pop art), and Electroplated (gold/rose gold/titanium color).
Q3: How is a metal sculpture made? Is it cast?
A: Unlike bronze (which is cast), stainless steel sculptures are usually fabricated (forged). We cut steel plates, hammer them into shape by hand, and weld them together. This allows for lighter weight and smoother, modern curves.
Q4: Can you create a sculpture from my 3D file or drawing?
A: Yes. We work with architects and designers. Send us your CAD, SketchUp, or Rhino files. Our engineering team will analyze the structure and fabrication details to bring your design to life.
Q5: Is stainless steel expensive compared to bronze?
A: It depends on the finish. A simple design might be cheaper than bronze. However, a complex mirror-polished sculpture requires hundreds of hours of manual polishing, making it a high-value investment similar to fine art.
Q6: How do I clean a stainless steel statue?
A: It is very low maintenance. Rain washes away most dust. For fingerprints or city grime, simply wipe it with a soft cloth and glass cleaner or warm soapy water. It will shine like new immediately.
Q7: Is it safe to ship large metal art?
A: Yes. We use a steel framework inside the packing crate to bolt the sculpture down, preventing any movement. We ship via ocean freight to the USA, UK, Australia, and worldwide.
Q8: Can you combine stainless steel with other materials?
A: Yes. We often combine mirror stainless steel with Corten steel (rust) for contrast, or add stone bases. We can also integrate LED lighting systems inside the sculpture.
