Custom Marble Columns & Roman Pillars
Columns are not just support. They are power.
Since ancient Rome, marble columns have been the symbol of luxury.
Whether you need large outdoor columns for a hotel entrance, or decorative porch columns for your villa, we build them.
At Yun Sculpture, we specialize in architectural stone. We do not use concrete or foam. We use solid, natural Marble and Limestone.
Choose Your Style: The Classical Orders
Architects love the classics. We follow the strict rules of the “Classical Orders.”
Which style fits your building?

Doric Columns (The Strong Style)
Simple. Powerful. Masculine.
Doric columns have a plain top (capital). They look strong and stable.
They are perfect for banks, government buildings, or a grand front porch.

Ionic Columns (The Elegant Style)
Graceful. Balanced.
Ionic columns have scrolls (volutes) at the top. They look like rolled paper.
This style is usually thinner and taller than Doric. It is very elegant for homes.

Corinthian Columns (The Luxury Style)
Fancy. Detailed. Beautiful.
Corinthian columns are the most famous Roman column pillars.
The top is carved with Acanthus leaves and flowers. It takes our masters weeks to carve just one capital. It is the ultimate sign of wealth.

Solid vs. Hollow (Construction Types)
How do we build them? We offer two types.

Solid Marble Columns
- Carved from one big block of stone.
- They are very heavy.
- They can support the roof (Load-bearing).
- This is the real, traditional way.

Hollow Stone Columns (Cladding)
- Do you already have a steel or concrete pole?
- We can make hollow stone columns.
- We cut the column in half. You wrap it around your existing pole.
- It looks solid, but it is lighter and easier to install.
Where to Use Stone Pillars?

Exterior (Outdoor)
Upgrade your home with stone columns for sale.
Use them for the front porch, the balcony, or a garden gazebo.
Real stone handles rain, snow, and sun. It does not rot like wood. It does not crack like concrete.

Interior (Indoor)
Use marble pillars in your lobby, hallway, or bathroom.
Polished marble feels smooth and cold. It reflects light. It adds huge value to your property.
Extend the classical architecture to your entrance with a matching limestone door surround or marble archway.
Colors & Materials
Most people want white. But we have more options.

White Marble
Classic and pure. (Like the Parthenon in Greece).

Beige Limestone
Warm and rustic. Great for French-style houses.

Red Granite
Bold and unique.
We select the best stone blocks. No cracks. No bad veins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the difference between Solid and Hollow columns?
A: Solid Marble Columns are carved from a single block and can be load-bearing (support a roof). Hollow Stone Columns are cored out or cut in half to wrap around an existing structural steel or concrete pole (cladding).
Q3: Can you make “Split” columns to cover an ugly steel pole?
A: Yes. We can cut the marble pillar vertically into two halves. Your installer places them around the existing structural pole and glues/seals the seam. This is perfect for renovations.
Q5: Can I mix different colors of marble?
A: Yes. A popular look is to have a White Marble column shaft with a Black Granite base. This creates a stunning contrast for luxury interiors.
Q7: Do you make twisted or fluted columns?
A: Yes. We can carve straight flutes (grooves) or spiral twists into the column shaft for a more decorative Roman or Baroque style.
Q2: Can your columns support the weight of a roof (Load Bearing)?
A: Yes, our solid stone columns are incredibly strong. However, you must tell us the weight load requirements so we can confirm the diameter and stone type with our engineers. Hollow columns are decorative only.
Q4: What are the “Classical Orders”?
A: We carve all 5 classic styles: Doric (Simple), Ionic (Scrolls), Corinthian (Leaves/Fancy), Tuscan (Smooth), and Composite. We follow the correct historical proportions for each style.
Q6: What sizes do you make?
A: We can make anything from small 1-meter pedestals to giant 10-meter facade columns. Standard diameter is usually 30cm to 60cm, but we can customize this to fit your scale.
Q8: Are the capital and base separate pieces?
A: Yes. Usually, a stone column comes in 3 parts: The Base, the Shaft, and the Capital (top). This makes them safer to ship and easier to adjust for height during installation.
