Custom Marble Pedestals & Statue Bases
A statue on the floor is just a rock.
A statue on a marble pedestal is a masterpiece.
Height changes everything. It brings the art to eye level. It commands respect.
At Yun Sculpture, we create hand-carved stone plinths and bases.
We use solid Natural Marble. No hollow plastic. No wood that rots.
Whether you need a base for a bronze figure or a stand for a flower pot, we make it strong and beautiful.
Marble Pedestals for Statues
This is our most popular use.
You bought a beautiful statue. Now it needs a home.
A statue base protects the art. It keeps it safe from lawn mowers or footprints.
The LookWe match the stone to your statue. White marble for Greek figures. Black marble for modern art.
The ShapeRound columns, square blocks, or octagons.
The StrengthOur marble pedestals for statues are solid stone. They can hold heavy weight (even 500kg+).

Display Pedestals for Art & Vases
You need a display pedestal for art.

Indoor
A polished marble column pedestal looks stunning in a hallway or living room. Put a vase of flowers on top. It becomes the center of attention.

Museum Style
Museums use simple, clean blocks. We can cut simple stone plinths that let the art shine.

Rotating Bases
We can even make the top spin (turntable) so you can see all sides of your art.
A marble pedestal is the perfect display base for custom portrait bust statues in your hallway or library.
Column Bases (Architectural)

Sometimes, you just need the bottom part.
We carve column bases for architects and builders.
If you have a wood or steel column, put a stone base under it.
It stops the wood from rotting on the wet ground. It looks historic and strong.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How much weight can a marble pedestal hold?
A: Solid marble is incredibly strong. A standard marble pedestal can easily support 500kg+ (1000 lbs+). It is safe for heavy bronze statues or large stone urns.
Q3: Do you make hollow pedestals to cover pipes?
A: Yes. If you have an ugly pipe or wire sticking out of the floor, we can construct a hollow stone plinth (box construction) to hide it while serving as a display surface.
Q5: Can I engrave text on the pedestal?
A: Yes. Granite and marble plinths are perfect for engraving names, dates, or titles of the artwork. This is popular for museum displays and memorial statues.
Q7: Do you sell antique style pedestals?
A: Yes. We can carve ornate styles with floral swags, fluting, and distressed finishes to look like an antique Roman column base.
Q2: Can you make a rotating base for my sculpture?
A: Yes. We can install a heavy-duty “Lazy Susan” bearing mechanism between the top plate and the base. This allows you to rotate your sculpture display stand to view the art from all angles.
Q4: What is the best height for a statue base?
A: Generally, you want the center of the artwork to be at eye level (approx. 150cm). If your statue is 100cm tall, a 50-60cm stone base is ideal. We can cut the plinth to any height you need.
Q6: Can you match the pedestal to my statue?
A: Yes. If you bought a white marble bust, we recommend a matching white marble column. If you bought a bronze statue, a black granite or beige limestone base provides a beautiful contrast.
8: Are they safe for outdoor use?
A: Yes. Unlike wood MDF pedestals that rot, our stone display columns are weatherproof and will not blow over in the wind due to their weight.
