Custom Bronze Fountain Statues & Water Features
A fountain is not just a pump and a bowl. It needs a story.
Imagine a bronze dolphin jumping out of the water. Or a lady pouring water from a jar.
Motion makes a garden feel alive.
At Yun Sculpture, we specialize in bronze fountain statues.
We don’t use plastic that cracks. We use solid Bronze.
Why? Because bronze loves water. It does not rot. It does not break. Over time, the water turns the bronze into a beautiful green-brown color (patina). It looks natural.
Bronze Lion Fountains (The King of Water)
The lion fountain is the most popular design in history.
Power. Strength. Protection.
Water shooting from a lion’s mouth is a classic look for any garden wall or pool.

Why We Use Bronze (Not Iron or Cement)

Water is tough. It destroys many materials:
- Iron Rusts: Iron will rust and rot in water.
- Cement Cracks: Cement absorbs water and cracks in winter.
Bronze is different.
Bronze is a copper alloy. It resists corrosion.
When water touches bronze for years, it creates a “Patina.” This is a protective layer. It makes the statue look antique and valuable.
A large bronze water fountain is an investment that lasts forever.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Why is bronze the best material for statue fountains?
A: Water destroys iron (rust) and concrete (cracks). Bronze is a copper alloy that loves water. It resists corrosion and develops a protective green patina. It allows for complex shapes like jumping dolphins or running horses that stone cannot do.
Q3: Can you make a “spitting” fountain statue?
A: Yes. Common designs include bronze lions, frogs, turtles, or fish spitting water. We test the water flow in the factory to ensure it shoots at the correct angle.
Q5: What is the best patina for a water feature?
A: We recommend a traditional brown or a “Verdigris” (Antique Green) patina. The green color blends beautifully with the water and garden plants and hides any natural oxidation that occurs over time.
Q7: Can I put a bronze fountain in a swimming pool?
A: Yes. Bronze is safe for pool water (even with chlorine/salt, though it will age faster). A bronze mermaid fountain on the edge of a pool is a classic luxury addition.
Q2: How is the water plumbed inside a statue?
A: We install copper or stainless steel pipes inside the body of the sculpture during the casting process. For a boy with fish fountain, the pipe runs up the leg and out the fish’s mouth. It is invisible from the outside.
Q4: Can I turn an existing bronze statue into a fountain?
A: Sometimes. If you buy a custom statue from us, tell us before we cast it. We need to leave a hollow channel for the pipe. It is much harder to retrofit an existing solid statue.
Q6: Do you create large group fountains?
A: Yes. We can create a scene, such as a pod of dolphins jumping or a group of children playing in the rain. These make dynamic and joyful centerpieces for parks.
Q8: Is the sound of the water adjustable?
A: The sound depends on the pump power. You can adjust the flow rate on most pumps to make the water trickle gently or shoot powerfully from the bronze fountain statue.
